Works great, adds extra heat if you put charcoal in there and use the burners. Sometimes I’ll fill the bottom with water and use wood chips to get a decent smoke, although not the same as using an actual smoker. Definitely a nice addition.

As my monster of a grill. It's massive, extremely well made, easy to assemble. Large, hot! grill surface, lighted dials, push button electronic ignition, and a rotisserie to book. They've thought of everything.....almost. the hooks to hang your tools interferes with opening the side cabinet doors.
