Worked great cooking my boston BUTT. Will use alot

I bought this product last year and while I noticed areas of paint having issues, I never thought too much about it. I always run a double indirect setup, so the slo roller is always indirectly hit by heat and it should run into problems. That said, I just found out through reading forums that KJ uses Teflon paint on it! That should be front and center so that folks better understand the TOXIC concerns of the paint flaking or otherwise showing signs of wear. This product is literally dangerous to you and your family’s health if you notice these signs, and even perhaps if you don’t!

I'll give it a 5-star rating because it seems to cook food more evenly and temperature is more consistent on the Classic Joe. It was a bit more of an investment for an accessory, but we just need to treat ourselves now and then.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the slo roller from 9 pm until 9am the next morning. I have the plug in attachment that keeps the temperature where I set it to at first cook, I took out after the 12 hours and wrapped in parchment paper in a cooler for another 2 hours. Cut up and served still hot and had 8 people over for dinner that all said it was the best they had ever eaten. Great products !
