I got these to be path lights and lights for around our patio. Our yard is small and not yet well filled in as landscaping was just conmpleted, but these are very elegant and don't take attention away from the plantings. They provide very nice light on a flagstone path and along our driveway path leading up to the house. Only downside is I ordered more for our back yard and they are backordered. :(
