This fountain is even more impressive than the photos. It is in my front garden, visible from the street. Neighbors who are walling by will stop to admire it and listen to the sound. It has become a neighborhood feature. I get compliments every day!

This Avignon Concrete Courtyard Fountain shipped to me somewhat slowly due to issues with the freight company. When it finally did arrive, all of the parts were packed onto a wooden pallet and delivered to my driveway. One of the wooden parts of the pallet was broken and there was a long protruding nail that gouged a small hole into the front part of the fountain's base (which I will fill in and paint over). The finish of the fountain was also scratched off in areas, so that will also require some touch up. I assembled this fountain all by myself and I must say that it was no easy task. Each part is extremely heavy. The base and the main basin were simple to put in place. Make certain you use a level because the water coming out of the four spigots requires that the fountain be completely level in order for the water to pour out in a uniform manner. I had difficulty getting the hose from the pump to the main middle column at a proper length that would not kink the hose. But after reducing the length of the hose several times, it worked correctly. There is a heavy amount of splashing with this fountain so be certain to assemble it somewhere that will withstand a fair amount of wetness around it. Once the fountain was up and running I was so happy with its appearance and performance. It is absolutely stunning and everyone that has seen it says it reminds them of the fountains of Italy. I am very, very pleased with it.
