Teak: To clean the finished teak, use a mild soap and water solution applied with a soft cloth or brush. Rinse thoroughly. To prevent water, moisture, and food stains from penetrating the teak, golden care teak shield can be applied to the surface. Before application, be sure to let new furniture sit outdoors for two weeks to allow the natural oils in the teak to be drawn to the surface. Imperfections, such as hair-line cracks, are natural to the teak aging process. When not in use or during inclement weather, store indoors or under cover using our protective furniture covers. Cushion: Lightly brush off or blot any loose dirt and light stains. Blot or mist spray with a lukewarm water/mild detergent solution. Avoid over-saturating. Rinse with water until clean and allow to dry thoroughly. For stubborn stains, mold, and mildew: Substitute the water/detergent solution with a bleach solution of 30 parts lukewarm water to 1 part liquid bleach. Always remove wet cushions from furniture frames and allow them to dry.
