Due to the natural material’s inherent texture, there is a knotty richness to their surfaces, though the lighter hues are so delicate they read like linen. In fact, the shades for chandeliers and wall sconces in this collection are of the finest weaves made by hand, evidenced by the tiny telltale knots along the surface that prove they are the ultimate definition of artisanal. The shades come in three different weaves, the one with the most texture trimmed in thin bands of cloth and the finer ones culminating with a rolled edge. Both designs exhibit a tailored feel, as you can see from this fine off-white version of the tapered shade.

Nymph Floral, a well-loved pattern from Grey Watkins, is now available in printed fabric, luxurious pillows, and beautiful, handcrafted lampshade styles. This multi-colored print offers the charm and delight of an English garden, with stylized foxgloves, wisteria, hydrangeas, and more. Each softback drum shade is handcrafted by stretching and sewing the material over a wire frame. The shades are self-trimmed with the matching print and fully fabric-lined. Softback lampshades offer a more diffused light than hardback shades and have a flexible surface that will not dent. Each shade comes with a standard washer top in a nickel finish and is handmade in the USA.
