The price is $851, total is $920 including tax. It is not cheap for a small lamp. However, I think that the product was not made in the USA as it is supposed to be. The lamp shade could not hold itself. Each time turning it on by pulling the chain, the shade falls down. The chain is at the right side of the lamp not as shown on the website photo, the left. I can't remember ever being more disappointed in a purchase than I was with this lamp. I debated about purchasing it to begin with because although I am in love with the design, it is definitely pricey at over $500. When the lamp arrived, it felt like a joke. The description of the lamp shade refers to "blue ripple glass" and "brown ripple glass." From what I can tell, "ripple glass" is code for either plastic or plexiglass. That would be fine for an $80 lamp, but for $500+ I was expecting something a lot nicer. In addition, the finial that screws on to the top of the shade is mis-threaded. There was NO way to get that sucker on straight. All in all, I felt like I got the cheap knock off version of the lamp pictured.
