Using only right angles in one continuous piece of metal, Fletcher works on the same principles as the Dutch Modernist art movement, De Stijl. Straight lines operating on vertical and horizontal planes guide the sconce’s design. Meanwhile, a tapered shade offers gentle contrast and a beautifully stepped backplate creates a sense of depth.

Like it and matches the main fixture well. Modern but elegant.. Sam. Noblesville, IN. Wed Oct 30 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sconce was easy to install had great directions. Replacing it over an existing one is especially easy. I had intended on repainting and putting this new sconce up as a final touch however, I never got around to getting the painting done so I needed to get this installed. I was surprised that there was no bulb included and I did not have the right size bulb because this is the smaller base bulb so I need to buy bulbs before I can actually use the light. It is very elegant looking and fits the space. I know it will be easy to take off when I paint and put back on. It also comes with a rubber tube so you can screw the bulb in because I have to use screw the glass part on the base you cannot remove it and slide it over a bulb so it’s a little tricky in that regard you don’t wanna lose that tube because that’s a long hole and you couldn’t twist it in otherwise.. This round piece offers our take on a perennial favorite. Arms like crocuses support candelabra bulbs, pertly poised as if reaching to the sun from within their circular metal frame. The contrast between old bronze and aged brass in our AOB versions adds further dimension to the piece.
