Meyda Co-Founder Meyer Cohen created this lighting design on the front porch of his summer studio in Old Forge in Upstate New York. The Meyer Lantern was designed with a Honey art glass roof and bottom; with a cornucopia of Blues; Greens; Yellows; and Reds. Today the pendant can be seen adorning camps and vacation homes throughout the Adirondack Mountains. The shade is created using the famous Meyda Tiffany copperfoil construction technique and complemented with a Mahogany Bronze finish. In the early 20th century, Tiffany Studios used it's artful mastery to develop the look of a woven fabric with a fringed skirt from art glass.
