Which is a pity, because the granny knot on which NUT is based sat proudly on the heraldic badge of the Bourchier family. We however are fortunate to live in an era when NUT can adorn our own little castles; a powerful symbol of our exquisite breeding. The Overlay Large Pendant is a artisanal creation that is painstakingly made by hand, as each of the leaves are individually cut and welded to the frame and the dots on the edges of the spiky cut-outs are welded on. The elongated-dome shape of the white pendant has a sartorial feel thanks to the textural richness of the fluted edges flowing downward like a couture wedding dress might.

I absolutely love the new pendant light in my casual beach dining room. The warm glowing effect it gives off at night with the dimmed lighting is fantastic. We truly believe design is in the details. An element we love with this collection is how the top loop mimics the same angles as the lower metal fretwork. It's a small attention to detail but a big part of the overall look because it artfully repeats the design theme and helps to balance the fixture.

We received our Perigold light in four days so shipping was awesome. It came very well packaged, and it was very straightforward on how to install it. We installed it on a beam so it was a little harder because we didn’t have an actual light box which would’ve made it a super easy installation. It has wonderful light. It’s over our dining table and it will be perfect on high beam to play games or do whatever you want to do so that you can see very well and then it dims down to a really nice softlight. One review mentions it did not have enough light for a galley kitchen and I believe that would be true if it was your only source of light, but it is awesome over a kitchen table where you have other lighting around it. It is very heavy duty and the electrical wire has no problem getting nice and straight once the light is hung. Also we used it with a Lutron dimmer and that went flawlessly, there is no flickering or noise. We are so very pleased with this light. Thank you Perigold for such great service and product.. Cindy.
