Love its flexibility and the color is wonderful. Great light and good height for reading in a chair. I believe designers should work on a different method to turn on/off. Because doing stuff in the dark can be hard. It's a lamp! No, it won't answer to the adorable pet name you give it or have witty replies to your inane requests (don't worry Alexa, you have job security) but it will fill your room with functional light and deliver it via a thoughtfully proportioned powder-coated steel design. Sure, it might be just a way to cancel out small parcels of darkness, but maybe, just maybe it could be a friend too.

The lamp serves the purpose well for which it was purchased. It really brightens a dark room. There should be a note to install the lampshade upside down. Typically, you would put the lampshade on with the inner cross-pieces on the upper side of the shade. If you do that on this one, the light bulb sticks out above the shade.
