The telecommunication wires, also known as “tele wire,” were repurposed into beautiful and visually striking creations. The Zulu artisans behind these masterpieces have taken a once-utilitarian telecommunication wire and transformed it into an emblem of adaptability and ingenuity. Clean, sleek and decidedly modern, brim is full of style. The traditional pendant rod is replaced by a trio of thin wires that suspend the soft white plaster shade from the canopy. The wires extend below the shade, allowing the opal glossy globe to hover beneath, rather than rest inside the shade. This unique design allows light to fully flow from the globe and also reflect off the gold leaf shade above.

The Bee My Honey chandelier, designed by Sasha Bikoff, is guaranteed to be a playful element in an interior. Made of wrought iron in an antique brass finish, the gold chandelier is handmade using a technique called metal piercing, a process during which composite is poured into the cavity of a mold and intricately pierced using a nail-shaped piece of metal. The textural stippling creates the feeling of a hive around which cast bees have been welded.

I love this light! It’s modern, unique and is a great statement piece. The cable suspension with lock nut adjustment is easy to use. Installed seamlessly on a 10-pitch sloped ceiling. We were able to suspend this light 13’ from the anchor point with ease. Came undamaged and arrived promptly. Only complaint is that it is so light in weight, that we will likely have to add some weighted details to the cables to keep it from swinging due to a breeze or air from a fan.
