Designed with an undulating border; this beautiful art glass shade offers a complex artistic pattern comprising of nearly 2;000 glass pieces which are individually selected; cut and set by hand using the famous Meyda Tiffany copperfoil construction. The overall effect achieved is lyrical and full of movement; capturing the lushness of the wisteria tree in bloom. My wife and I really like this lamp and appreciate Wayfair replacing the damaged lamp so quickly. Original Review: The mica on the lamp shade was damaged in several places. The packaging was perfect and the shade was probably damaged before it was packed. Second, the paint which covers the dragonflies on the base looks very good when the base light is off, but looks thin and poorly applied when turned on. Siberian Tigers are playfully arranged on our Scalamandre' Maison by PORT 68 grand lamp. Rich faded blue and white color tones are set off by the stalking tigers and flowers motif which wraps around the porcelain lamp base. The lamp features a solid brass ring finial and hardware. The lamp is Beautiful! The shipping was horrendous. FedEx left $2200 in lamp boxes at the street. Needless to say, I carried them in happy that they weren’t stolen. And these lamps are HEAVY! Hannah is our modern, yet casual interpretation of a Chinese export pattern that is on a saucer plate made about 1740. The original resides in the Colonial Williamsburg archives. Archaeological fragments decorated with the same aster pattern and bearing similar fluting were excavated at the Geddy House site in Williamsburg, Virginia. The blue asters and cream ground porcelain lamp is part of the Williamsburg collection for Port 68. The graphic blue aster pattern is decorated on the front and back, with cream/white side panels on the shaped lamp body. The lamp is mounted on a black base with aged brass ball feet. The lamp is accented with aged brass hardware and ball finial.

This is a pretty lamp for decoration, not for illumination, since it gives off little light. The colors are beautiful just like the picture. I like to leave it on when I leave my room so I don't return to a completely dark room. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the outline of the flowers on the shade could be neater.
