When Clarence Mallari designed the Calliope wall sconce, he was inspired by leaves on the bamboo plant. Though the stem and fronds of this tan wall sconce read as if they are made of natural material, they are fashioned from wrought iron in a mix of coco cream and ivory finishes that are hand-applied by artisans. The placement of the clean-lined rectangular shade is a design detail of note - its thinness makes this sconce ADA compliant.

Wow, your guests with this sconce installed in a bathroom or bedroom. This lamp covers a driftwood-inspired base, accented with a curved white shade, for a touch of nature and a touch of glam. At nearly 50 inches long, a statement will surely be made.

This is a beautiful fixture; elegant, exotic, romantic. There is nothing else comparable. Most designers and their client would be better served if, however, there were other options available for the rather pedestrian shade. It works, but the fixture could offer so much more with a little imagination; even a different color option would help.. Langston. Reevesville, SC. Sun Aug 04 2024

The light fixture is just a metal cage and you hang the glass balls on like a Christmas tree. It’s very hard to get it to look like the photos. Also the balls bang onto each other so there is a risk of breaking. The glass balls are pretty hard to attach to the metal clips. I could not assemble it by myself. It’s seems very DIY for an expensive piece of lighting.. Christy. Reno, NV. Fri Aug 02 2024
