Our veneers are selected to give the best wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material with out sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated. Daring, mischievous and nonconformist, the Mikado lamp leaves nobody feeling indifferent. An ancestral game known as Mikado enters our home thanks to Miguel Herranz’s ability and skill. The 1st Baron Bourchier was born several hundred years too late to enjoy hanging NUT throughout his shadowy castle. Which is a pity, because the granny knot on which NUT is based sat proudly on the heraldic badge of the Bourchier family. We however are fortunate to live in an era when NUT can adorn our own little castles; a powerful symbol of our exquisite breeding. We can thank the brilliant Marivi Calvo and Ray Power for their valor and insight. Long may they reign supreme.
This light is gorgeous and unique! It is exactly what I wanted over my sink during my kitchen remodel. It adds a unique texture and a pop of color that complements my space perfectly! Highly recommend for those who think a little outside the box of metal finishes.. Denise. South Windsor, CT. Wed Aug 04 2021

Cala Nans is a small cove in Cadeau's accessible only by footpaths or by sea. An unspoiled corner of the Mediterranean where the vegetation and an old lighthouses vigil make this place a natural spot where all you can hear are the sound of the sea and of the birds that fly over the coast. With Nans, we wanted to highlight the craftsmanship of the lampshades and to look for a different way of weaving by combining different colors and formats to create a true Mediterranean style.

Designed by Burkhard Dämmer, I-Club epitomises the use of clean lines in good design. The symmetrical beauty of this lamp is evident across each of its forms. Available as a Short or Long lighting fixture, the I-Club Slim Suspension has the option of a black or white top diffuser (black preventing any upward light), and a matt satin acrylic bottom diffuser. This sharp and elegant lamp is especially ideal for any environment requiring directional, downward lighting, for example, above a desk or kitchen surface. The I-Club Slim Suspension is also striking when arranged in a uniform formation. The I-Club Slim Suspension is available in the following wood veneers: Natural Cherry, Ivory White, Natural Beech, Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue, Grey, Pale Rose, and Sea Blue.

The Puppet collection by Vistosi expresses passion and artisan know-how. The undisputed focus is blown glass that is irregularly striped, an ancient manufacturing technique that has been known since Roman times and used for the manufacturing of Murano glass. Here, new magical forms come to life from the breath of master glassmakers. For Puppet, Romani Saccani Architetti Associati, former designer of the Diadema collection, has chosen the sphere, a symbol of perfection and union, a movement that has no beginning or end that remains immutable over time – much like the Puppet collection, which has become an icon of the Vistosi catalogue since its conception. The expressive research of Romani Saccani Architetti Associati is aimed at defining a strong, identifying sign that is conceptually simple, and therefore easily understandable. The result is a collection with a pure, immediate design, devoid of unnecessary frills. The latter allows diffusers to be fixed to the ceiling with steel cables as desired, creating ever-changing plays on light with the electric fabric cables that recall the wires that moved ancient puppets. The diffusers are in four glass finishes with the possibility of mixing them together. The Puppet Ring collection, created in 2019, plays with spheres of different sizes, differing from the “classic” version for the use of a frame made up of rings of different sizes, single or juxtaposed, which form the base on which the precious glass spheres rest and blend with the structure with the shape blown into the glass itself. Three new configurations were added to the three suspensions already present: given their size, they are particularly suitable for large-scale environments. In the applique, a ring supports a larger sphere facing the ceiling and a smaller one facing the floor.

Glassmaking is an ancient art that tells of centuries-old knowledge, handed down from generation to generation by the love and passion of expert craftsmen who carefully hold a tradition of excellence. True icons of timeless beauty are born when know-how and craftsmanship meet design, to form a perfect synthesis of tradition and innovation. This is the case of the Giogali and Minigiogali collections designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1967 for Vistosi, the lighting brand that has brought glass to perfection. The Giogali lamp (Compasso d’Oro mention in 1969) introduced a new concept in the use of glass: a modular lighting system based on a single hand-crafted crystal element (a type of hook) that can be repeated indefinitely to give life to structures that appear like cascades of light. The hook is the basic module that constitutes the entire architecture of the Giogali system (name that derives from the Venetian “giongher”, or the strap used in the countryside to tie the cart to the yoke), Mangiarotti’s modern interpretation of the Venetian chandelier. Long-term research based on the innovation of traditional shapes generated the hook, which thus becomes the constructive element of the chandelier itself. The basic element can be hooked in a series to form crystal chains, which in turn can be combined to create unlimited formal designs, such as chandeliers of any size that become scenographic backdrop of rooms. Following a restyling of the product, Vistosi introduced the Giogali 3D version in 2005: a new type of hook in glass that allows it to be paired to rings in all four directions, so as to form a continuous mesh that allows great installation flexibility.

Designed by Mariví Calvo, Gea is a classic example of a lamp whose form is thoroughly unpretentious. Gea’s circular structure showcases the clean lines of thoughtful design: a lamp that is decorative, unobtrusive, and timeless. Gea’s classic form is ideally suited to a range of environments, both commercial and residential. Gea Suspension is available in three sizes: Small, Large, and Slim. Each size is perfect as an individual pendant, perhaps suspended above a table or in a cosy corner. The Gea Suspension will also make a striking lighting cluster, especially when combining different sizes. The Gea Small and Large Suspension lamps use a traditional E27 lightbulb and incorporate a matt satin acrylic diffuser. Gea Slim uses an integrated LED light source and has the option of a black or white top diffuser, and a matt satin acrylic bottom diffuser. The Gea Suspension is available in the following wood veneers: Natural Cherry, Ivory White, Natural Beech, Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue, Grey, Pale Rose, and Sea Blue.

The suspension version includes spheres of three different sizes, and is in different variants such as linear versions, those with a round rosette or in the chandelier. The latter allows you to fix the diffusers to the ceiling with steel cables as desired, creating ever-changing games with the fabric electric cables that recall the strings that moved ancient puppets. The diffusers are in four glass finishes (shaded white, transparent crystal, transparent smoke, transparent amber) with the possibility of mixing them together. The metal frame can be in polished chrome finish with gray fabric electrical cable or matt black with black fabric electrical cable. The Puppet Ring collection, born in 2019, plays with spheres of different sizes, differentiating itself from the “classic” version by using a frame composed of rings of different sizes, single or combined, which form the base on which the precious glass spheres rest, which blend with the structure thanks to a pre-forming inside the blown glass. In addition to the three existing suspensions, three new configurations are added which, due to their large dimensions, are particularly suitable for large spaces. In the wall light, a ring supports a larger sphere, oriented towards the ceiling, and a smaller one facing the floor. Light and elegant, Puppet Ring ethereally combines crystal, smoked, amber and shaded white glass with gold and satin black nickel finishes.

Riflesso is one of Vistosi’s most iconic lamp collections. In the latter variant the recent restyling by designers Chiaramonte & Marin allows a better diffusion of light. The three sinuous shapes of Riflesso, which are reminiscent of soap bubbles and make lightness and transparency their hallmark, now feature a dual light source. The LED is positioned at the top, where the gold or satin-finished copper structure joins the glass, and at the bottom, at the end of the second structure. Whatever the colour (crystal, pink, amber or smoked), the glass is almost invisible and becomes a simple tool for propagating light. This result is possible thanks to the experience of Vistosi’s master glassmakers who, with skill and craftsmanship, make this precious raw material visible only through the reflection of light, enhancing the concept of simplicity and lightness from which the collection’s concept originates. In Riflesso, therefore, glass becomes light, functionality merges with design, and the ultimate purpose of a lamp is never lost sight of: to illuminate, but at the same time to furnish the environment harmoniously. Hence the careful study of dimensions, which allow Riflesso to adapt to different needs, spaces and contexts, from homes to offices. The double LED source and the greater light diffusion allow the lamp to be used individually even in more spacious environments.

Estela is a captivating capsule of light. In Estela, Mayice designed a clean, clear, single piece of borosilicate glass. Hand-blown by the accomplished artisan Eduardo Garuti, the glass envelopes a cylinder-like wood veneer diffuser. The wood veneer houses a dimmable LED light source, and a straight opening on one side emits downward light that is softened by the glass. Offering a seamless connection between both glass and wood, Estela is a radiant lamp with a celestial-like quality. Similar to Dune, Estela’s natural imperfections, a characteristic of hand-blown glass, add to its warmth and elegance. Each lamp is signed by the artisan, Eduardo Garuti. Estela is now available in a vertical formation with three sizes: 100 cm, 60cm, and 40cm.
