Our veneers are selected to give the best wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material with out sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated. It was way back in 1858 when German mathematicians August Ferdinand Mobius and Johann Benedict Listing discovered the mysterious Mobius Strip, with its eternally flowing surface. In 2013 Ray Power created LINK. And so the story of infinite geometry continues through the magic of light.

Nostalgia with its retro flair, Nostalgia elegantly tells of ancient glass blowing practices in three sinuous forms that can be combined at will. The perfection of the glass, the innovative LED technology and five elegant finishes make Nostalgia an extremely modern and versatile lamp that lends itself to the creation of captivating atmospheres, whether on or off. These combinations offer wide-ranging possibilities to personalize any space: on its own to illuminate a table or to add a sophisticated touch to a bedroom, in linear groups above a counter or peninsula, or in cluster compositions to emphasise larger spaces with refined scenic effects.

The Puppet collection by Vistosi expresses passion and artisan know-how. The undisputed focus is blown glass that is irregularly striped, an ancient manufacturing technique that has been known since Roman times and used for the manufacturing of Murano glass. Here, new magical forms come to life from the breath of master glassmakers. For Puppet, Romani Saccani Architetti Associati, former designer of the Diadema collection, has chosen the sphere, a symbol of perfection and union, a movement that has no beginning or end that remains immutable over time – much like the Puppet collection, which has become an icon of the Vistosi catalogue since its conception. The expressive research of Romani Saccani Architetti Associati is aimed at defining a strong, identifying sign that is conceptually simple, and therefore easily understandable. The result is a collection with a pure, immediate design, devoid of unnecessary frills. The latter allows diffusers to be fixed to the ceiling with steel cables as desired, creating ever-changing plays on light with the electric fabric cables that recall the wires that moved ancient puppets. The diffusers are in four glass finishes with the possibility of mixing them together. The Puppet Ring collection, created in 2019, plays with spheres of different sizes, differing from the “classic” version for the use of a frame made up of rings of different sizes, single or juxtaposed, which form the base on which the precious glass spheres rest and blend with the structure with the shape blown into the glass itself. Three new configurations were added to the three suspensions already present: given their size, they are particularly suitable for large-scale environments. In the applique, a ring supports a larger sphere facing the ceiling and a smaller one facing the floor.

Spider is a round suspension lamp resembling an eye that can look into any part of the room. By adjusting the angle of the diffuser, the light beam emitted by the LED light can be directed towards any specific point. When installed on the different clusters available, it can create numerous lighting patterns, from functional to decorative, which can be dimmed at will.

Cala Nans is a small cove in Cadaqus accessible only by footpaths or by sea. An unspoiled corner of the Mediterranean where the vegetation and an old lighthouses vigil make this place a natural spot where all you can hear are the sound of the sea and of the birds that fly over the coast. With Nans, we wanted to highlight the craftsmanship of the lampshades and to look for a different way of weaving by combining different colors and formats to create a true Mediterranean style.

A-Tube Nano is a suspension lamps which interprets light in its simplest form by creating a thin luminous line in the living spaces. At the lower end of the lightweight aluminium structure, a transparent methacrylate diffuser houses an LED module whose light creates a soft, welcoming atmosphere. The simple, linear, pin-like look of the A-Tube Nano suspension light is also highly sophisticated and effective. The lightweight aluminium structure with a 2 cm diameter delicately defines the atmosphere of the room in which it is featured. The small methacrylate diffuser highlights the linear look and lets the light create an accent in the living space.

The silhouette and the play of overlapping different materials are evocative of the graceful and harmonious shapes of the jellyfish’s movement. The blown glass of the oversized diffuser encloses an inner fabric lampshade. An effect of transparencies, shades and textures, whose preciousness makes Plissè an elegant and characteristic element of the spaces where it is installed.

The Assured Light: Escape is an avant-garde pendant with a smart domino-like structure. Its self-supporting veneer panels give the impression of falling into a ring of light, their form defying gravity. Designed by Ray Power, Escape is a truly handsome, self-assured light. While enjoying a little bit of swagger and appearing fairly pleased with itself, the Escape pendant’s manner is bright and buoyant. Moreover, Escape is entirely affable, having an approachable quality that is perfect for any well-turned-out setting.

Glassmaking is an ancient art that tells of centuries-old knowledge, handed down from generation to generation by the love and passion of expert craftsmen who carefully hold a tradition of excellence. True icons of timeless beauty are born when know-how and craftsmanship meet design, to form a perfect synthesis of tradition and innovation. This is the case of the Giogali and Minigiogali collections designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1967 for Vistosi, the lighting brand that has brought glass to perfection. The Giogali lamp (Compasso d’Oro mention in 1969) introduced a new concept in the use of glass: a modular lighting system based on a single hand-crafted crystal element (a type of hook) that can be repeated indefinitely to give life to structures that appear like cascades of light. The hook is the basic module that constitutes the entire architecture of the Giogali system (name that derives from the Venetian “giongher”, or the strap used in the countryside to tie the cart to the yoke), Mangiarotti’s modern interpretation of the Venetian chandelier. Long-term research based on the innovation of traditional shapes generated the hook, which thus becomes the constructive element of the chandelier itself. The basic element can be hooked in a series to form crystal chains, which in turn can be combined to create unlimited formal designs, such as chandeliers of any size that become scenographic backdrop of rooms. Following a restyling of the product, Vistosi introduced the Giogali 3D version in 2005: a new type of hook in glass that allows it to be paired to rings in all four directions, so as to form a continuous mesh that allows great installation flexibility.

Riflesso is one of Vistosi’s most iconic lamp collections. In the latter variant the recent restyling by designers Chiaramonte & Marin allows a better diffusion of light. The three sinuous shapes of Riflesso, which are reminiscent of soap bubbles and make lightness and transparency their hallmark, now feature a dual light source. The LED is positioned at the top, where the gold or satin-finished copper structure joins the glass, and at the bottom, at the end of the second structure. Whatever the colour (crystal, pink, amber or smoked), the glass is almost invisible and becomes a simple tool for propagating light. This result is possible thanks to the experience of Vistosi’s master glassmakers who, with skill and craftsmanship, make this precious raw material visible only through the reflection of light, enhancing the concept of simplicity and lightness from which the collection’s concept originates. In Riflesso, therefore, glass becomes light, functionality merges with design, and the ultimate purpose of a lamp is never lost sight of: to illuminate, but at the same time to furnish the environment harmoniously. Hence the careful study of dimensions, which allow Riflesso to adapt to different needs, spaces and contexts, from homes to offices. The double LED source and the greater light diffusion allow the lamp to be used individually even in more spacious environments.

The diffusers are in four glass finishes (shaded white, transparent crystal, transparent smoke, transparent amber) with the possibility of mixing them together. The metal frame can be in polished chrome finish with gray fabric electrical cable or matt black with black fabric electrical cable. The Puppet Ring collection, born in 2019, plays with spheres of different sizes, differentiating itself from the “classic” version by using a frame composed of rings of different sizes, single or combined, which form the base on which the precious glass spheres rest, which blend with the structure thanks to a pre-forming inside the blown glass. In addition to the three existing suspensions, three new configurations are added which, due to their large dimensions, are particularly suitable for large spaces. Designed with clean architectural lines and a longer form that will illuminate its surroundings with understated elegance. An innovative lighting series, it has a symmetrical beauty that is replicated across a number of models: suspension, wall, ceiling, floor, and table. As a suspension lamp, the extended length is perfect in those environments requiring an extra level of directional light with only one fixture: above a kitchen surface, a dining table, or a bed. Utilized as a small wall lamp, it is perfectly poised to highlight a dim stairwell and illuminate a favorite painting. As a floor lamp, the stature is striking, its contemporary form projecting light across the room. And as a table lamp, the product assumes a refined posture, with an ambient light that seduces the eye.

Inside, every shade several LED circuits are hidden, which can be lit all at once or by sections to meet the requirements of the room and the time of day. Outside, the LZF wood veneer enfolds every geometrical shape, like cones sinking at different depths into the heart. The result is a very original lamp, a geometric puzzle of light that resembles one of the most basic forms of life.

In the year 1913, Russian artist Kasimir Malevich painted a black square on a white background. Somebody referred to the piece as minimalism. And so a movement was coined. We think Malevich would approve of the Gea, created by that master of design Marivi Calvo. Like the work of Frank Stella, Phillip Glass, Samuel Beckett and Raymond Carver, the art pared back to its bare essentials. Less is more. Embrace purity.

Noren take its name from the pieces of fabric that were traditionally used as curtains in Japanese homes to divide different areas, replacing walls, doors or windows. Inspired by this Japanese tradition, Noren are lightweight, decorative light structures with sound-absorbing panels which, when combined together, help to coordinate the space by integrating sound and light.
