We needed a floor lamp with a very small footprint to help light a bedroom with plantation shutters and no overhead lighting. This lamp fit the space and is well constructed. The cute part of this lamp is the proportions. I love the big shade a ball counterweight vs the super slim stand. The base is a nice, modern disk in a matte black that is so pretty.
