I can't remember ever being more disappointed in a purchase than I was with this lamp. I debated about purchasing it to begin with because although I am in love with the design, it is definitely pricey at over $500. When the lamp arrived, it felt like a joke. The description of the lamp shade refers to "blue ripple glass" and "brown ripple glass." From what I can tell, "ripple glass" is code for either plastic or plexiglass. That would be fine for an $80 lamp, but for $500+ I was expecting something a lot nicer. In addition, the finial that screws on to the top of the shade is mis-threaded. There was NO way to get that sucker on straight. All in all, I felt like I got the cheap knock off version of the lamp pictured. The Coral Luxe Table Lamp is a buffet-style piece at 39" tall. The white painted shade has a subtle antique glaze so as not to be overly stark, yet still clean and eye-catching. The price is $851, total is $920 including tax. It is not cheap for a small lamp. However, I think that the product was not made in the USA as it is supposed to be. The lamp shade could not hold itself. Each time turning it on by pulling the chain, the shade falls down. The chain is at the right side of the lamp not as shown on the website photo, the left. Obnoxious and frustrating. The lamp itself is pretty, exactly as described, and arrived on time. However, it must be missing a part because the glass fits so loosely in the neck that it is bound to fall out. Instead of providing installation instructions, all you get is a slick marketing card with a QR code to retrieve the installation instructions. To receive the instructions, you have to enter your name and email....only to be directed to more marketing and zero installation instructions. Now I have to take the time to call the company and suffer through more marketing crud just to find out whether the lamp is poorly made or if a part is missing. I do not recommend this lamp. This authentic Mission Craftsman lamp features a dramatic geometric design featuring a stunning array of Green; Amber and Purple/Blue art glass with Red accents against a Cloudy Beige background with a Honey border. This shade was created with individual pieces of art glass using Meyda's famous copperfoil construction. The shade is enhanced with a table base finished in Mahogany Bronze. The lamp is UL and cUL listed for dry locations.
