Which is a pity, because the granny knot on which NUT is based sat proudly on the heraldic badge of the Bourchier family. We however are fortunate to live in an era when NUT can adorn our own little castles; a powerful symbol of our exquisite breeding. We can thank the brilliant Marivi Calvo and Ray Power for their valor and insight. Long may they reign supreme.

I have used this piece before a few times. The design is simply beautiful, the quality is sublime. This piece is from Spain, imported...and the packing is unbelievable. the light glows through the wood veneer, making for a striking visual effect. All of there products are pieces of artwork. MARUJA, THE DO-IT-YOURSELF LAMP. An original self-assembly pendant, Maruja was designed by the fresh-faced Gazpacho Studio—it is LZF’s first flat-pack fixture. A contemporary lamp, Maruja’s design is simultaneously unfussy and decorative. Maruja is a name whose origins lie in Galicia, and signifies both femininity and strength. The do-it-yourself Maruja is packaged with all the components needed to assemble the lamp: wood veneer strips (in several sizes), a circular frame, and pins. Maruja is easily constructed, without the need for any tools or adhesives. Using a pin, each wooden strip is clipped onto the circular frame—insert a light bulb, and you will have created an elegant, handmade lamp. The wood veneer strips hang and move freely, and when illuminated, Maruja sparkles with life.

A Meyda Tiffany original classic stained glass design. This delightful basket of ripe luscious three dimensional fruit, Golden pears; Ruby Red cherries; Crimson apples and Amethyst grape clusters, will whet your appetite for color. The fruit is topped with Cinnamon and Cream bands and touches of Sage Green leaves. The chain and canopy are hand finished in Mahogany Bronze.

Bel Occhio is a study in weightlessness and transparency,” notes designer Pablo Pardo on his inspiration for this luminaire. “It evokes nature’s transformative light.” His piece manifests the celestial through a hybrid design: its suspended, inner column creates focused illumination while its surrounding shell produces a transformative ambient glow. New Wave comprises two interlocking interior and exterior wood veneer panels. Differing in colour to the exterior panel, the interior panel’s edge juts out, creating a clever design feature that enhances the New Wave’s profile. The resulting composition is well-proportioned and fluid, giving the New Wave a smooth, free-flowing countenance.

Precision executed in translucent resin, this pendant uses an integrated LED light source, and a frosted optical light guide for an even, colorful glow all around with white light down.

After a collaboration of more than ten years, Burkhard Dämmer’s latest contribution to LZF. Can be considered as one single lamp or a combination of lamps. Inside, every shade several LED circuits are hidden, which can be lit all at once or by sections to meet the requirements of the room and the time of day. Outside, the LZF wood veneer enfolds every geometrical shape, like cones sinking at different depths into the heart. The result is a very original lamp, a geometric puzzle of light that resembles one of the most basic forms of life.
