This is a beautiful light fixture and really pulled my parlor together. It’s well made and solidly built. To give an idea of scale, the room pictures is 13x14 with 9 foot ceilings. Installation was easy. Putting the glass pieces on was tedious, but not too complicated. Use gloves when handling the glass pieces, by the way. Also, it clinks if the windows are open on a windy day, which sounds a bit like wind chimes. Reminiscent of traditional lanterns but with a decidedly modern feel, this fixture thinks outside of the box. With no need for glass, light flows freely through the open form for a beautifully organic effect. The rectangular shape bows at the sides to add softness and at the top creating a faux hood. I had an electrician with a helper do the installation, a two man job due to the weight of the fixture, but put the glass tubes in myself which was an easy but slightly time consuming job.
