Wood warms a fixture category that metal usually owns, and the Woodcroft 6 Light Chandelier is carved entirely from teak, down to the round stem and the ornament at its lowest point. The arms are square rather than round, a small departure that gives the silhouette an edge against all those curves. Stacked bobeches repeat the shape of the ornament at the top of the stem. Candle sleeves and the chain supply the only metal, and the whole piece dims. It works on a sloped ceiling too, which opens up vaulted rooms.
