Our Compass designer was building a boat and contemplating navigation when inspiration struck. Based on the simple needle compass—a cork floating in water with a magnetized needle sticking through it—our ceiling light takes significantly more skill and time to create. All Hubbardton Forge products are handcrafted one at a time in Vermont.
