The "Delicious Monster" wall sconce is inspired by nature and the philodendron monstera plants found throughout the coastal regions of southern Africa. Conceived and handmade in the Durban, South Africa studio of Xavier Clarisse, each piece is crafted from quality, locally sourced, vegetable-tanned leather. A stainless steel skeleton transforms the flat leather fronds into a three-dimensional hanging sculpture. Not suitable for outdoor use.

Stick-like rods of varying lengths burst from a metal band at the center giving Sabine an organic feel and a sense of motion. Go for a coastal feel with the white gesso finish or make a sophisticated statement with the vintage gold leaf. Over two feet in height, this commanding sconce draws attention and brings style anywhere it goes.
