Nostalgia with its retro flair, Nostalgia elegantly tells of ancient glass blowing practices in three sinuous forms that can be combined at will. The perfection of the glass, the innovative LED technology and five elegant finishes make Nostalgia an extremely modern and versatile lamp that lends itself to the creation of captivating atmospheres, whether on or off. These combinations offer wide-ranging possibilities to personalize any space: on its own to illuminate a table or to add a sophisticated touch to a bedroom, in linear groups above a counter or peninsula, or in cluster compositions to emphasise larger spaces with refined scenic effects.

The elegance of blown glass finds a new dimension in the Jube collection, designed for Vistosi by the Favaretto&Partners studio. The studio has once again used its classic modus operandi to this collection: pertinence in the application of materials, precision of design, and the search for innovation in form and function. Among the various dimensions of glass elements, the two largest can be combined so as to configure a perfectly harmonious suspension, such that they appear to be united, a single soul. Jube is a prestigious, timeless collection that never goes out of fashion, thanks to its timeless, refined and elegant style. It is a style that unites the four types of lamps without distinction: suspension, wall, table, floor – all with a LED light source. Its combinations give life to unique pieces that are perfect to be placed in retro-style environments.

A lightweight, blown glass suspension lamp, Random is made up of three round diffusers of different sizes which form one simple, eye-catching whole. Each diffuser has an LED light source which emits a soft white light. When grouped together on a cluster, Random light fixtures form a poetic composition like soap bubbles, enhanced by the contemporary finishes which add a touch of character and originality.

The Puppet collection by Vistosi expresses passion and artisan know-how. The undisputed focus is blown glass that is irregularly striped, an ancient manufacturing technique that has been known since Roman times and used for the manufacturing of Murano glass. Here, new magical forms come to life from the breath of master glassmakers. For Puppet, Romani Saccani Architetti Associati, former designer of the Diadema collection, has chosen the sphere, a symbol of perfection and union, a movement that has no beginning or end that remains immutable over time – much like the Puppet collection, which has become an icon of the Vistosi catalogue since its conception. The expressive research of Romani Saccani Architetti Associati is aimed at defining a strong, identifying sign that is conceptually simple, and therefore easily understandable. The result is a collection with a pure, immediate design, devoid of unnecessary frills. The latter allows diffusers to be fixed to the ceiling with steel cables as desired, creating ever-changing plays on light with the electric fabric cables that recall the wires that moved ancient puppets. The diffusers are in four glass finishes with the possibility of mixing them together. The Puppet Ring collection, created in 2019, plays with spheres of different sizes, differing from the “classic” version for the use of a frame made up of rings of different sizes, single or juxtaposed, which form the base on which the precious glass spheres rest and blend with the structure with the shape blown into the glass itself. Three new configurations were added to the three suspensions already present: given their size, they are particularly suitable for large-scale environments. In the applique, a ring supports a larger sphere facing the ceiling and a smaller one facing the floor.

Mesmerizingly asymmetrical with a mid-century modern flair, the collection showcases a cluster of clear, open globes, each encircled with a slender brass ring. Each opening is off-center and the globes fall to different lengths, with a Heritage Brass details pulling the look together perfectly. Adjustments are easily made with the cinching ring.
These are simply stunning. I wanted something pretty and unique for my pendants. I did have to have my electrician shorten the length of each one by about a foot but still worth it!. Melinda. Austin, TX. Tue Jan 04 2022

In the Riflesso collection, the simplicity and lightness of glass become the main features with three different curved shapes. The silhouettes of the diffusers are enhanced by the LED light source. The pendants, presented together or separately, characterize the environment with elegance. The Riflesso SP 2 pendant lamp has been redesigned and equipped with a second LED for better light diffusion. The collection has also been enriched with a new, smaller size in the pendant version, which allows compositions also in clusters. The collection has also been enriched with a new wall type using the glass of the Riflesso SP 2 pendant.

A frosty chill meets the warmth of Led in this sculptural pendant light. Resembling sheets of ice, four thin Piastra glass blades with chill marks extend from a central opal glossy glass core. A vintage brass framework provides a golden glow that enhances this pendant's sparkle when lit. Riflesso is one of Vistosi’s most iconic lamp collections. In the latter variant the recent restyling by designers Chiaramonte & Marin allows a better diffusion of light. The three sinuous shapes of Riflesso, which are reminiscent of soap bubbles and make lightness and transparency their hallmark, now feature a dual light source. The LED is positioned at the top, where the gold or satin-finished copper structure joins the glass, and at the bottom, at the end of the second structure. Whatever the colour (crystal, pink, amber or smoked), the glass is almost invisible and becomes a simple tool for propagating light. This result is possible thanks to the experience of Vistosi’s master glassmakers who, with skill and craftsmanship, make this precious raw material visible only through the reflection of light, enhancing the concept of simplicity and lightness from which the collection’s concept originates. In Riflesso, therefore, glass becomes light, functionality merges with design, and the ultimate purpose of a lamp is never lost sight of: to illuminate, but at the same time to furnish the environment harmoniously. Hence the careful study of dimensions, which allow Riflesso to adapt to different needs, spaces and contexts, from homes to offices. The double LED source and the greater light diffusion allow the lamp to be used individually even in more spacious environments.

Glassmaking is an ancient art that tells of centuries-old knowledge, handed down from generation to generation by the love and passion of expert craftsmen who carefully hold a tradition of excellence. True icons of timeless beauty are born when know-how and craftsmanship meet design, to form a perfect synthesis of tradition and innovation. This is the case of the Giogali and Minigiogali collections designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1967 for Vistosi, the lighting brand that has brought glass to perfection. The Giogali lamp (Compasso d’Oro mention in 1969) introduced a new concept in the use of glass: a modular lighting system based on a single hand-crafted crystal element (a type of hook) that can be repeated indefinitely to give life to structures that appear like cascades of light. The hook is the basic module that constitutes the entire architecture of the Giogali system (name that derives from the Venetian “giongher”, or the strap used in the countryside to tie the cart to the yoke), Mangiarotti’s modern interpretation of the Venetian chandelier. Long-term research based on the innovation of traditional shapes generated the hook, which thus becomes the constructive element of the chandelier itself. The basic element can be hooked in a series to form crystal chains, which in turn can be combined to create unlimited formal designs, such as chandeliers of any size that become scenographic backdrop of rooms. Following a restyling of the product, Vistosi introduced the Giogali 3D version in 2005: a new type of hook in glass that allows it to be paired to rings in all four directions, so as to form a continuous mesh that allows great installation flexibility.

Tread, Vistosi’s collection of lamps with a vintage soul and industrial style, is enriched with a new diffuser for the suspended version, again designed by the creative duo Chiaramonte & Marin. If the previous diffuser was reminiscent of an old oil lamp, taking us back to the Sixties, the new one does not lose its vintage inspiration, but is transformed and changes style: the blown glass with its characteristic lateral grooves, from which the name of the collection itself derives (from the English word thread), disappears and makes way for a smooth glass, with a decidedly larger diameter and whose shape recalls that of a suction cup. A new solution that makes it possible to illuminate small living areas even with just one element, containing costs, but without giving up a precious glass and a design element, able to characterise and enhance the environment in which it is inserted. Whatever the colour of the glass, the colour of the light does not change because the base of the diffuser is open; the different shades only influence the intensity of the illumination, making it more or less warm.
