We received our Forma lamp 2 days ago. It is beautiful and looks so nice in our living room. It arrived beautifully packaged and protected. Everything required for assembly was included and even extras. We love the dimming ability as well. I searched many lamps and even returned a different lamp prior to finding this one. Yes, it is priced higher than most but made so very well. If purchased I don’t think you will be disappointed.. Linda. Williamstown, NJ. Wed Jul 29 2026

The lamp base is heavier than anticipated. It is straight as an arrow, extremely well-crafted and it looks great in our den. The shade looks better than the website photo. A bonus is that the lamp will accommodate up to a 150 W bulb and, best of all, the switch is a rheostat to dim or brighten the illumination for taste, need or mood. When reaching such a distance with a fixture it is important that it feels visually efficient in its form but is still far from fragile; inviting one to linger under it. The adjustability in the reach and the height of the shade makes it possible to custom fit the piece to its surroundings; an important characteristic for such a large piece.

Miguel Milá got everything right compositionally with this demonstration of industrial craftsmanship. Its cylindrical oak column creates a vertical symmetry that gracefully supports an almost cylindrical white linen shade. With no time for unnecessary adornment, FAD lamps are distinguished by their permanent elegance.

At Cerno, they design what they want to see built, their designs are predominantly brought to light by the ingenuity of Co-Founder and Director of Design, Nick Sheridan. After Nick creates these clean modern functional forms, he shares them with Co-Founder and Director of Engineering Daniel Wacholder, who uses his engineering and manufacturing expertise to insure the structural and functional integrity of all products that bare the name Cerno. "An architect friend of ours once said to us 'My favorite colors are concrete, metal and wood.'" We love this saying, and the Silva is for the people who do too. Solid walnut, raw brushed aluminum, and a molded concrete head - honest and clean. The structural connection between metal and wood was the inspiration here, where the fixtures substance is only strengthened by gravity. The tri-leg base finds stability on uneven surfaces and allows the cord to exit discreetly and effectively. It feels signature and iconic while still keeping a clean and timeless modern aesthetic.

I truly love this light! It's fun, it's sophisticated, it's modern, it's perfect. Has a very clean approach to design that is deceiving in the amount of thought that must have gone into the engineering of this light. Easy to put together. Solid base and column makes it very stable. Most people comment on the beauty and uniqueness of this light.. Rr. San Diego, CA. Wed Sep 24 2014

Suggestive of a fine-cut gem, our Facet collection offers a truly unique design. Our floor lamp displays an interplay of steel angles and planes sure to be the crowning jewel of a well-designed space.

The lamp is beautiful and high quality. I wish it were 2" shorter or the shade 2" taller so when sitting in a chair next to it, you aren't looking up at the bulb. I will probably be purchasing a new shade.. Gerry. Newcastle, WA. Mon Mar 15 2021

Our contemporary Formae floor lamp offers a contemporary take on the traditional taper. Tubes of curved steel slowly peel from the stand running up from the base to form gentle arcs that support each bulb.

Love this. The bronze color is handsome, and the oval shade helps this lamp fit in a rather tight area in our library, while being large enough to produce the good reading light we needed. Graceful design.. Jenifer. Dallas, TX. Wed Dec 23 2020

A stunning Mission-styled shade features a luxurious beige art glass shade trimmed with a root beer glass, which is complemented by a solid brass frame finished in craftsman brown and a steel floor base in a mahogany bronze finish. The team (everybody I have ever talked with at Perigold), has been professional, listens well, and has offered good suggestions. I love the lamp. I love everything about it. Except during shipping one of the shade glass panels was broken. And, the body of the lamp wobbles, which it is not designed to happen. Having said this disappointing news, I have set up the lamp in a corner where hopefully my cleaning crew won’t attempt to move it. This was the third attempt to make it right and I have no confidence in the delivery teams to care for the lamp in transit. The manufacturer packs it so well, I’m surprised that either the shade or the body of the lamp could possibly be damaged. Clearly, based on the care given to pack it so tightly and well to stabilize both parts, the delivery teams must have not treated the boxes with care - or said another way, they either threw the boxes or something else to cause such damage. By the way, after the second lamp was damaged I spoke with the manufacturer about it. The woman I spoke with was horrified and in fact, spoke with the man who puts this lamp together who gave assurances that their QC process is tight and no lamp leaves the manufacturing floor unless all parts are functioning as intended. They went as far as to describe their approach to crafting this beautiful lamp. It makes me sad. Thank you for being a company that cares about the products you offer. I have purchased 4 different lamps through you within the past year or two, and love them all. That this stunning lamp has been mistreated during transit is no reflection on Perigold, and after personally speaking with the manufacturer, this unfortunate situation has no reflection on them..
