This beloved lighting design is modeled after the original Hanginghead dragonfly from Tiffany Studios. Diving Blue Dragonflies with glowing jeweled eyes and delicate metal filigree wings circle over hand-cut and copper foiled pieces of Lakeside Blue and Pond Green glass representing rippling water. This lovely shade is created using the famous Meyda Tiffany copperfoil construction and enhanced with a Mahogany Bronze finished cast metal hardware. The lamp design is inspired by Dragonflies found in renowned rose gardens in the New York Botanical Garden in Bronx Park; New York City; to the White House in Washington; D.C. It is ideal for placement in bedrooms and dining areas to create a beautiful design statement. This unique lighting design features a Beige hand woven Burlap shade on a Cafe Noir finished steel floor base with steel tree branches that appear like a mid-winter shadow behind a brilliant moon and mesmerize with a striking look inspired by nature. The floor lamp is handcrafted by highly skilled artisans in the USA in our 180;000 square foot manufacturing facility in Yorkville; New York.
