The lamp design is compact, unique, well made. I do not care for the switch pad which is cumbersome, four feet from the lamp base!!, with no dimmer, to be a real negative. This is such a beautiful lamp, definitely worth the wait! I do think that the quality was not quite what I expected, for example we had to attach each crystal with a piece of wire which doesn't hold firmly.
