I bought my first Haiku in 2012. Shortly after, Hurricane Sandy flooded our first floor (we were lucky), and that fan sat for ten months without climate control. For ten months, there was no heat and no AC. That fan is still running perfectly, and the bamboo foils are impeccable. We now own seven. Four are the outdoor rated as they are in Puerto Rico where we live with all the doors and windows open, close to the ocean. Heat and humidity and suspended salt water vapor are ever-present.
