This lamp is the style and size I was looking for to use as a bedside lamp in my teenaged son's room. I knew the finish was going to be distressed but now that we have the lamp I think it would look better if the color was uniform, not distressed. In any case, my son likes it and the lamp's angular, masculine aesthetic works in his room.

Shape and material are interesting, at a very good price

Fits perfectly in my bedroom. Solid. Well manufactured.
