I couldn't screw down the finial when it arrived because the metal insert came loose inside the wood. I went out and bought glue to fix the problem and ended up with glue on my fingers, the finial and my sofa (my fault, but still not how I wanted to spend my first moments with this expensive lamp). Since then however it's been a joy to own. I love looking at it everyday and it may be my favorite lamp in the house. Bad first impression, but I'm truly glad to have it. Perigold dealt with the initial problem quickly and professionally. I can't comment on whether it's truly moss-colored as I have trouble with colors, but it's certainly beautiful.

This is a pretty lamp. I purchased because it has a 3 way switch. Harp is not large enough for a 3 way bulb unfortunately. "Brass" material of harp also feels cheap. Will be returning.
