It looks so cheap. I want a return

I had searched a long time for "neo-classical"-inspire tall table lamps, with pull chains. I purchased a pair of these table lamps for their design elements (Greek motif on 'faux'-marble black base, columnar fluted body with distressed painted gold leaf, gold coloured pull chain and ornate finial. After I removed the lamps from their well protected boxes, and assembled the harps, I noticed the length of the pull chains were very different from each other! One pull chains (one lamp) was 1 inch above the gold columnar body, whereas the other lamps pull chain was quite short, higher up towards the harp. Very disappointed with this manufacturing defect, as the different lengths are very noticeable. Additionally, one of the lamps' faux marble base is sloppily painted, having blurred finish. I am quite surprised this passed manufacturer's quality control inspection!! Considering the high price point of these table lamps, the overall quality is "below par". Quite sub-standard. I would have returned the defective lamp, but had already destroyed the shipping box carton it came in (before I had assembled the harp, finial and lampshade). A very expensive lesson!!
