The light was described as weighing just over 3 pounds. It is actually almost 10 pounds - much heavier than described. I had to return it since the ceiling could not support such weight.

I have other this manufacturer's product in my condo and I love it's modern design and high quality products. However - this was too small for my kitchen. It's long but very small in width. The product itself is heavy and of high quality. It's very bright and has a very modern look to it. 4 stars for size and the high price.
