I love this bedside lamp! It checked all the boxes for what I needed in a pretty low-light bedroom--additional bright light on either side of our bed, gold to pick up other colors in the room, a white shade to display optional colors with smart bulbs and to add some brightness, and yet--overall--simple so as to not over-complicate the look. They were well-packaged, shipped quickly, and were easy enough to install with basic electrical knowledge. Do note that the gold bar running down from the lamp base is twice as long as what comes with the lamp. I needed them higher for a proper angle and lighting to balance lighting in the room, so got more of the gold tubing. I also just loved that look. I loved that these could potentially be hardwired as well, but instead opted to run the cord down the wall through the gold tubing, drill a hole in our bedside wall-mounted nightstands (we have limited space), and positioned the onoff toggle switch that is built into the line immediately beneath the shelves. We have smart lights in the fixtures though, so rarely use the toggle switch and, instead, use a remote on the wall for all smart lights in the room. The rest of the wire underneath the nightstands that them runs to the outlet along the wall is hidden in paintable wire covers. I am so incredibly happy with the way they look. Awesome upgrade.
