I was looking for a small lamp to sit in a shady corner of my kitchen countertop. I must have looked at hundreds of options online. But when I finally spotted this one, I knew it would be perfect — the right dimensions, the right color, the right shade fabric for my purposes. And it is exactly what I needed. The only drawback is that the cord is much, much too long for my location. So I watched a YouTube video on the topic, and now I’m shortening the cord — then the finished product will indeed be ideal for me.
