Piaf reflects Thomas O’Brien’s enduring appreciation for classic form and handcrafted detail. Inspired by a pair of turned wooden lamps he found in London, Piaf reinterprets their timeless silhouette with a lighter, more architectural sensibility. For the ceiling fixtures, a sculptural spherical hub anchors the design, where each arm extends with precise balance and symmetry — an homage to the mechanical ingenuity and crafted geometry of early industrial and mid-century fixtures. The sconces translate that same spirit of refinement through a stepped circular backplate, emphasizing continuity and tailored simplicity. Together, these elements embody O’Brien’s hallmark approach — bridging traditional craftsmanship with modern restraint to create lighting that feels both timeless and effortlessly elegant.
