The metal quality is nice. BUT. The lights are supposed to turn on and off with a light touch at the top of the lamp, but that feature doesn't work reliably. Sometimes it turns on by itself. Sometimes I can't get it, fully charged, to turn on at all. It easily tips, so make sure you put it where it won’t be knocked over. The light has three intensity settings, but the brightest setting is quite low. I wish I could return it, but the one month return window has closed.
