Metal is modern, but would have liked white or gray tweed shade, cream looks dull. I have purchased 2 new white shades looks great

Love the lamps! I’m a little disappointed in the lamp shades. Online it looks like the lamp shades are white, but the color is somewhat yellow.

This is my first time leaving a 1 star review for any product on Perigold or Wayfair. Firstly, I'll say the metal on this lamp is gorgeous! Unfortunately, the cord to this lamp is stapled onto the back of the metal and it is exposed so you see it when looking at the lamp. No where in the photos is this shown. Secondly, the lamp shade design is very poorly constructed. There's no way to secure it so it doesn't wobble around. I cannot recommend this product. Especially for $449.00. Generally speaking, customer service is stellar with Wayfair/Perigold. For whatever reason, this time I would have to give the representatives a zero. Maybe blame it on Mercury Retrograde. LOL...Things happen! I sent photos of the exposed cord and they were still hesitant to give me a free shipping label to send this lamp back. After a few emails, the free return labels were sent to me. Karla acted like she was doing me some big favor by doing so. Again, the weirdest and most uncomfortable shopping experience I've had with Wayfair and Perigold thus far and I shop here fairly often. It's been my go to for home decor.
