This is a lovely, heavy, well-crafted lamp, but I gave it four stars instead of five because the one photo provided by Chapman & Meyers did not, in my opinion, provide an accurate representation of the lamp that I received. The photo suggested to me that the base would be round and the finish quite burnished. As you can see from the photo that I submitted, the base is angular and the finish is more polished than burnished. I would suggest to Chapman & Meyers that they provide more than one photograph and from different angles.

Very pretty lamp and good size for bedside tables. Color is a little different from the picture.. looks like a creamy white in the picture but it is more of a taupe color unless the lighting in the room is very bright ie the color looks different in different ambient lighting. . If you set the lamplight on dim the base looks taupe. Crackle finish is pretty.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the lamp shade that arrived with this lamp. It didn’t look anything like the photo and was an odd yellow color. It was so disappointing I sent the lamp back.

Exquisite lamp! Was very disappointed was not right for my space.
