I liked the quality of the lamp base, but the color was not quite the shade of green I needed.

I love this lamp. I was so excited to see that the color was even prettier in person than as shown in the catalog. It is very pretty, and the dimmer feature on the lamp is an added bonus.

I sent an email already outlining the deficiencies... but will repeat them here... The shade is NOT the size pictured above OR on the website. It sits so low on the lamp base that neither the top of the lamp nor the socket rise are visible as in the depiction above . The shade is also too wide and actually looks like something went wrong in production with increments of proportion...very big disappointment as I coveted that lamp for a couple of months before ordering it. Had I not thrown away the packaging, I would have returned it. You should know I also was disappointed by the flimsy design of two floor lamps (O'Brien) ordered through my designer. Because of these two experiences, I am not inclined to order others I have in my basket.

the lamp base is beautiful but the shades were a yellowish cream and a cheap looking paper I didn't care for them (I bought a pair) in color, material, or size. I say size because you could barely glimpse the beautiful soft gold at the top of the base. So I purchased 2 of the10" H x 16" W Linen Drum Lamp Shade ( Spider ) by Latitude Run in color Natural----expensive swap but worth it to correct the scale and color. I donated the ones that came with the lamp. Now I love the lamps.
