The lamp is beautiful and high quality, but it's actually a little higher than listed on Perigold's website, and it made a difference, so unfortunately, I returned it (the correct height can be found on Visual Comfort's website). Because Perigold's specs were listed incorrectly, they waived the return shipping costs. I will say that the three Visual Comfort's lamps that I have in my home are all beautiful and high quality. The shades are actually off white - not the horrible stark white that is often seen. If you see a Visual Comfort lamp online and it looks like it will fit well in your home, you won't be disappointed in the quality. I would have given five stars, but it that requires a photo, and since I returned the lamp, I couldn't do that.

Terrible customer service. Only received one of the 2 lamp bases despite calling customer service 3 times.
