The lamp is gorgeous; I just wish I had realized the cord would be hanging down in view from under the shade, it kind of spoils the effect. I'm not sure where I thought the cord would be, just assumed it would run inside the lamp base, but the base is solid so that's not possible. It's still beautiful tho.
