This fan lasts a year and then breaks. We are going on our 3rd in 2 years. I should have stuck with a hunter fan

I am underwhelmed by this fanlight for several reasons. The description on Wayfair says the blades are weathered oak, but they are actually plastic. Also, the light cover is plastic as well. For the amount this fan cost, these two things are very disappointing. Also, the fan looked a lot more substantial (the housing and blades) on the website than it actually is. Lastly, the yellow light it emits is strangely dim and jarring at the same time. The only time I can tolerate having the light on is during the day just for ambiance. Using the light at nighttime is seering and irritating. Overall, I would not buy this fan had I seen it installed in a showroom.

So slick and modern - love the low profile of this fan! Updates the room and works beautifully - super quiet. Also love the remote!
