works well for a contemporary coastal style. this is a very nice outdoor fixture

Absolutely beautiful light fixture for my house and I would give it a five-star review but the only thing that prevented a higher rating was the poorly written installation instructions. Nowhere did the instructions indicate that the outer glass cover had to be inserted first so through trail and error I had to take it down and reinstall the fixture a couple of times. It requires a second person to help install it or if you might have a second ladder with some sort of rig to help support the fixture while you manipulate the wires, otherwise you will soon find yourself balancing the housing and glass while wiring this thing up is one tricky balancing act.

The way the light is designed it is quite heavy when you go to install it. It takes two people. One to hold the heavy fixture and the other to make the connections and thread it onto the screws. Looks great once it is up.

I am an interior decorator and ordered 3 of these for my clients hallway and they turned out great! She is very happy with them. I love the "beaded" glass. The metal isn't super high quality but for the price, they are just fine!
