I have this in the window on top of the piano. It has a very soft glow that can be dimmed or dialed up. Only surprise was that it was slightly smaller than I expected, (but that’s because I didn’t check the dimensions) Note that it’s better as a desk top or possibly bedside.

It's very well made. I just wish it could be brighter.

Love, love this little lamp! Very high quality - heavy substantial base and thick glass dome. The base of the lamp twists for onoff and has a dimmer. Sets the perfect tone in my entryway.
