These are beautiful. We are going to hardwire them into the walls besides my daughters bed. I will post pictures once they are installed.

Rather than follow the installation directions, remove the base, screw it to the wall using a couple of extras for stability, and then put the lamp on. The lamp itself is very attractive and well made and the design flaws re installation reasonably fixable. I had expected to replace the lampshade with my own silk ones, but the doll sized harp was ridiculous.
