The lamp is not well balanced. Easily tips when you try to adjust the lamp.

This is a sturdy, well-made lamp. The style is beautiful and works very well in our traditional home library. I had no issues with the height or head adjustment, and like how many configuration options there are. I ordered the weathered brass and in my opinion it was quite a bit brighter than as pictured. I plan to return it for a bronze one.

Great look and finish on this lamp. I used an edison style bulb to play up the vintage feel of this lamp.

Lamp not balanced well, tends to all over when touched. The fastening system is poor. Arms need tightened and re-tightened frequently. Not a good value for the amount of the purchase price.

Light is not bright and it gives off a lot of heat. Also, the top is heavy and the arm barely stays up, even after tightening. but, overall, this is a good-looking lamp. There is nothing terrible about it and I do not regret purchasing it.
