It's a nice lamp. It was intended for the entry foyer table, but the lamp wasn't large enough for that space. It now lives on a dresser in a bedroom, which is a much better fit. It has a three-way socket which is great, but I don't love that the cord comes out of the top of the lamp. I suppose this has to happen since the base is solid alabaster. At least the cord is clear, so no harm, no foul.

This is a truly stunning lamp. We changed out the shade for an opaque one with foil lining and it makes the stone base look luminous. Very happy and highly recommended.

Beautiful lamp, heavy and perfect size for my needs. I didn't realize the cord would come out at the top of the lamp because of the stone but it has worked out well.
