I just signed on to buy a second one of these. I'm going to use them on my nightstands. They are great for reading as well as ambient light because the beam is very flexible. I like them back slanted with the top level, or back slanted with the top tilted down, almost to the base, creating a dramatic look you don't see in the photos. I have custom-made white leather, low profile nightstands and finding the right lights for them has been a nightmare. At one point, I planned on using Pablo Circa pendants, but I found these Superlights through that page on Wayfair. Also, the light along the top bar is not made up of a bunch of independent LEDs. Rather the light is even and solid along the length of the upper arm. That's a detail found only on quality lamps. My only criticism is that they do not work with smart lighting or dimmer switches. You do have to adjust each one when you turn them on independently. But that is by far, not a deal breaker. The lights are way too cool to pass up for that reason alone. Two years later, I now want to add that these don't last. I bought two of them and neither still work in just a short time. For the price, I expected them to last longer.

I really love these lamps and bought two for my office. The lamps produces nice quality light from dim to bright. I even plan to take them to trade shows to illuminate my display cases.
