This is a well made, minimalist desk lamp that is both interesting and attractive. However the information provided regarding how it attaches to the table is not provided. Here is my description in the hope that it will assist prospective buyers: The C-shaped lamp comes with a metal base plate which is about 4" X 10". The lower part of the C attaches to this plate magnetically. The plate is drilled in each corner and is meant to be screwed to the underside of the table. This assumes that the table has no ledge... That the underside of the table is flush with the outer edge as the plate needs to be in that lower position for the magnetic end of the lamp to be able to latch on. There are two issues to contend with: one, do you want to screw this plate to the underside of an expensive table? Two, how to you bring the plate to sit flush with the bottom edge of your table when the underside is recessed? We love the lamp but have not yet installed it because of these reasons. We are not pleased with having to put screws into the bottom of the table and are currently trying to find a solution that would avoid us having to do that. We will also have to add a block of wood to the underside of the table to allow us to install the plate flush with the table's lower edge, without using screws. The lamp is beautiful enough to bother with this problem. Fair warning to those who are looking for immediate gratification. This one may require a little fiddling.

This is an amazing desk light. Super sleek and stylish look. The magnetic bottom is a huge plus because it doesn't take up any desk space. Overall an outstanding product. Pros: Easy assembly, high quality, innovative design. Cons: None.

This lamp is fabulous! Looks amazing and takes no surface space. Does require a small amount of installation to mount it to the underside of the worksurface.

Love that this attaches magnetically to the desk. It is unobtrusive, takes no surface space and is clean-looking and attractive. Gives just the right amount of light to needed area.
