A classic!

Beautiful table lamp, exceeded my expectations!

The size of the lamp (smaller) is very good for my decor application. The shade is plain but that's fine. What is disagreeable is the quality of the design and ceramic color on the body of the lamp. It does not have the lightness of say a Gump's lamp thus leading to a fusing of the design when looked at from a distance. For example, the blue is very dark and the floral design is not only close together but without fine line characteristics so these aspects begin to fuse as the eye looks at the lamp especially on the lower half which is typically in shadow. The chrysanthemum is an iconic flower in Asian art. Why not have the producer do it right vs what is on this lamp?

The shape and color were exactly what I was looking for. I changed the lampshade to rattan and it completely changed the look. I love this lamp!
